Will a virtual guard work for our community?

Very possibly, yes. If you have a guard now and you think there are just too many visitors for a virtual guard during the day, think about how many visitors are arriving overnight. Our U.S. based virtual guards are always on time, never sleep, and will process visitors if a guard leaves early or does not show up. 

One of our virtual guard customers who was having nothing but problems with the physical guards stated..."this has brought stability to the guardhouse."

Out virtual guard cost around half of what an onsite guard costs. With a initial investment in some hardware you can start saving money now for other projects your community needs to do or build those reserves. You will see a ROI in months not years.

Does LPR work as an  access control solution?

Without a doubt! Stop wasting money on cards, clickers, transponders, or barcodes. Our LPR solution is providing access control for a number of communities and processing tag numbers for thousands of vehicles every day. LPR can also be used in the visitor lane to speed up a visitors wait time from minutes to seconds for visitors that have already been processed once and are allowed to enter the property. The vehicle tag is read and if allowed, the gate automatically opens for them. LPR when combined with our virtual guard service, this can be a very viable solution for your community.

Is a maintenance contract really worth the cost?

Think of a maintenance contract as an extended warranty on your equipment.  Ask yourself the following questions....  Is your equipment likely to need repairs in the next year?  Do you or your community hate to see the gates open for days at a time or cameras not working?  Would you like a set cost per year for the maintenance?  Would you like a set discount on non-covered repairs or credentials such as cards, clickers or transponders or even new equipment?  

All of our contract include at least two maintenance inspections per year.  Most of our contracts include a same day response time goal.  Also, most of our contracts include both parts and labor.  If you answered yes to any of the questions please see the contracts page for more details and contact us.  We are here to help.

Will I be charged for emergency service if the technician cannot repair my equipment?
Yes.  If you request emergency service, the emergency service rates for that day apply. We cannot guarantee a fix. We may need a part(s) or the repair(s) may just be too extensive.

I need service but cannot authorize emergency service. Can I schedule someone to be here the next business morning?
Maybe, ask us.  Scheduling is done days or weeks in advance so that morning may have been previously scheduled.

Who is authorized to call?
This will be your decision to make.  We would suggest only the property manager and select members of the association's board be authorized.

Is it worth the money to upgrade our older camera system?

Absolutely! Older camera systems used coaxial cables to transmit video. Today, the technology allows for super high definition cameras to transmit video across your existing coaxial cables which can save you loads of money. The great part is you do not have to do everything at once if their are budget constraints. Start with a new HD DVR and replace some cameras in critical areas. The older cameras will still work with the new DVR. When the money becomes available, replace some more cameras. Once you see the difference in quality you will want to upgrade the other cameras more sooner than later.
